Hydrating hair mask

I looooveeee super long hair, so I try to take care of it as much as possible, for it to look healthy all the time [at the end our hair is the frame of our face]. So in an attempt of trying to stay away from the chemicals in the store bought products I have tried different DIY hair masks, some have been good and some have been so so… however I have found THE ONE!!! The one because I can notice a difference right away since it super moisturizes and repairs my hair on the first application, so here it goes:

Ingredients

One egg white

2 Tbsp coconut oil

2 Tbsp almond milk

1 Tbsp raw honey

Directions:

Mix all the ingredients together and apply to your hair for 20 – 30 minutes AT LEAST. Then wash with your favourite shampoo and conditioner. You can use it 2 to 3 times/week until you feel that your hair is back to normal!

Detoxing Face Mask

Ingredients

2 Tsp Diatomaceous earth OR bentonite clay

2 Tsp organic raw honey

1 Tsp activated charcoal

2 tsp water

3 drops of lavender essential oil

2 drops of tea tree oil [avoid if you have very dry skin]

Directions

Blend all the ingredients together, it may be liquidy, and apply to your face. It dries really quickly so you don’t have to worry about dripping everywhere. However be careful when applying it, because the charcoal may stain your shirts or the grout. I suggest using a latex glove to apply to avoid staining your nail polish or nails.

This face mask is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!! The  activated charcoal and the bentonite clay/ diatomaceous earth detoxifies and purifies your pores, helping you get rid of acne and blackheads. The honey besides moisturizing acts as an antiseptic, together with the tea tree oil;  while the lavender essential oil helps brighten your skin.

Once you have masks in place and a glass of bubbly in hand be sure to head over to Maria’s blog I spill the beans on how to feel like a superstar in front of the camera
